Darin is a highly motivated

design, development, and administration of databases. He has successfully designed and deployed
high availability solutions such as Veritas clustering and RAC, consistently
achieving 99.9% availability. Darin
created both customized and out-of-the-box database monitoring solutions, in
one case creating a custom solution from the ground up. He has many years of experience designing and
implementing backup & recovery solutions, including the implementation of
disaster recovery plans using Oracle Data Guard. His strong development history in several

hardware. Mentored client data center
team on best practices with clustering and high availability UNIX solutions
using Veritas.

implemented a Data Guard disaster recovery solution for a 4 terabyte OLTP
database supporting one of our largest clients.

Lead the
effort to implement hardware based replication for reporting and backups of 2
terabyte production database using EMC Business Continuance Volumes (BCVs).

implemented monitoring and alerting utilities to proactively manage several
multi-terabyte OLTP database systems supporting our largest clients.

Created and
executed backup and recovery strategies, including Disaster Recovery Plans.

with development on improving application performance and scalability using
